Who is responsible for your data

The data controller and processor is Uptrol (company details in the contact section at the end of this page). Please send any question about personal data to Uptrol’s contact email.

Data we collect

When you send the contact or trial form, we receive:

• Your name, phone or Zalo number, and company or plant name.
• Your email address, if you provide it.
• The type of request and the message you write.
• Your consent choices, the time of submission, the page and the language used.

The web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser, time of access) to run and protect the service. The website uses no tracking cookies or advertising tools. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Visitor statistics

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read most and how fast they load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not track you across other websites. Each page view records:

• The address of the page you view and the page you came from, if any.
• Browser type, operating system, device type and country.
• Page load timings.

We only look at aggregate figures and do not use them to identify anyone. Cloudflare processes this data on behalf of Uptrol, on servers that may be outside Vietnam. You can block it with an ad or tracking blocker in your browser; the website keeps working.

How we use it

• To contact you and discuss your request: survey, advice, quotation, trial. Basis: your consent in the required box of the form.
• To send an email confirming we received your request.
• To send emails about Uptrol products, engineering articles and offers, only if you tick the email box and confirm by email. This is a separate choice and does not affect how we handle your request.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for any other purpose without asking you again.

Who can access it

• Uptrol sales and engineering staff, as far as needed to handle your request.
• Service providers Uptrol uses to operate: data storage, email delivery, internal notifications. They process data only on Uptrol’s instructions. Some may host servers outside Vietnam; in that case Uptrol carries out the cross-border transfer procedures required by law.
• Competent authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Request details: up to 24 months after the last contact if no contract follows; if a contract follows, for the contract term and as required by accounting rules.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe.
• Records of your consent or its withdrawal: at least 12 months after withdrawal, to demonstrate compliance.

Your rights

Under Vietnam’s Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

• Know how your data is processed, see it and receive a copy.
• Ask us to correct or delete it, or to restrict its processing.
• Withdraw consent at any time. For marketing emails, use the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of every email.
• Object to processing for advertising, complain and claim compensation as provided by law.

To exercise these rights, email Uptrol. We acknowledge your request within 2 working days and handle it within the time limits set by law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled systems, visible only to people who need it. If a data breach occurs, Uptrol will notify the authorities and you as required by law.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use your data, we will ask for your consent again.
